Don't have a DNA test yet?
We recommend AncestryDNA — 677,000+ markers, covers all 50 that EQ Flow analyzes. Regularly $49-99. Results take 6-8 weeks. Start your EQ Flow check-ins while you wait — your behavioral phenotype will be ready when your DNA arrives.
⚠ 23andMe filed for bankruptcy in March 2025. If you have 23andMe data, we recommend downloading your raw file now as a precaution.
How It Works
Upload your raw DNA fileTap "Upload DNA File" in the app. Select the .txt file from your device. On iPhone, it works best from the Files app or iCloud Drive.
50 markers are extracted instantlyEQ Flow reads only the specific genetic markers related to your 4 axes (COMT, DRD2, OXTR, TPH2) and health profile. Everything else is ignored. The raw file is discarded immediately — it never leaves your phone.
Your genetic channel is revealedSee your DNA-confirmed channel alongside your behavioral one. If they match — your behavior already knew. If they differ — that's growth. The distance between hardware and expression is the story.
Unlock deeper insightsYour 50 markers also reveal methylation status, inflammation profile, nutrient needs, and drug safety flags — the foundation for a personalized supplement protocol.
FAQ
Is my DNA data safe?
Your file never leaves your device. Processing happens entirely on your phone. We never see it, store it, or transmit it to any server. Not even to our AI provider. The raw file is discarded the moment the 50 markers are extracted.
What if I don't have a DNA test?
DNA upload is completely optional. EQ Flow's channel detection works entirely from your check-in data. DNA simply confirms and deepens the read. If you want to get tested, AncestryDNA (~$99) provides the most comprehensive raw data export.
What's the difference between my behavioral channel and genetic channel?
Your genetic channel is your hardware — how you were wired at birth. Your behavioral channel is your expression — how you actually show up based on your check-ins. If they match, you're living from your channel. If they differ, that's not an error — it means you've grown past your default wiring.
Can I delete my genetic data?
Yes. Go to Settings → Data & Privacy → Delete All Genetic Data. Since the data only lives on your device, deletion is instant and permanent. We have nothing to delete on our end because we never had it.
Which file format do I need?
A raw DNA .txt file from AncestryDNA or 23andMe. This is the file that contains your SNP data (hundreds of thousands of genetic markers). It's NOT the PDF reports — it's the raw data export. See the provider-specific instructions above.
How do I get the file onto my phone?
Download it on your computer, then either: (1) AirDrop it to your phone, (2) save it to iCloud Drive / Google Drive and open it from the Files app, or (3) email it to yourself and save the attachment. The file is typically 10-20 MB.
What are the 50 markers?
We extract markers across 9 panels: phenotype axes (COMT, DRD2, OXTR, TPH2), methylation (MTHFR, MTRR, CBS, SLC19A1), methylation extended (MTR, BHMT, PEMT, TCN2, SUOX), methylation confirmatory (DHFR, SHMT1, MAO-A, AHCY), inflammation (IL-6, IL-10, SOD2, PON1), nutrients (vitamin D, omega-3, iron, B vitamins, lactose), drug safety (statin risk, CYP enzymes, clotting factors), downstream clearance (MTHFD1, VDR), and additional health markers (BDNF, FTO, ACTN3). Only these 50 data points are kept — everything else in your file is discarded.
